Tomato Tamarind Chutney


Ingredients:

Tomato sliced - 3pcs
Onion sliced - 2pcs
Ginger sliced - 1 inch
Garlic sliced - 4 cloves
Red Chili - 2 nos
Tamarind Pulp - lemon size
Jaggery - 2 pcs
Water - 1/3 glass
Salt to taste

For Tempering 

Ghee - 2 tsp
Urad Dhal - 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 strip
Garlic chopped - 2pcs
Garlic chopped - few
Asafoitida - pinch




How to prepare

Boil all together except Jaggery and under tempering ingredients and allow them to cool. once it is cooled please make a puree and keep.

Heat ghee in a pan and add urad dhal, mustard seeds and curry leaf roast till mustard pop up. Add garlic chopped and ginger chopped sauteed well.

Add asafetida and add puree in to pan cook for 10 mints and seasoned with salt and jaggery.

Enjoy with Idli or Dosa
