Njandu  Roast / Crab Roast

Ingredients

Crabs cleaned - 500gm 

Onion - 1 chopped

Tomato - 1 

Ginger & Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp

Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste.
Water - 1/3 cup

Coconut oil
A few sprigs of curry leaves.

Method

Heat a clay pot add oil ,add the onions and curry leaves . Stir well
add green chilli, ginger and the paste saute well. Now add tomato saute until smashed well, now add the powder at one go and combine well. After the masala has mixed well, add the crabs. Pour water and close with a lid for 5 minutes. Cook till done and all the water has evaporated. Stir fry well. Serve hot with chappathi or rice.
