Butter Naan / Garlic Naan

 Butter Naan / Garlic Naan

Ingredients;

Maida (All Purpose flour) – 2 cups
Salt – a pinch
Sugar – 2 tsp
Baking Powder – 1 ½ tsp
Baking Soda – a pinch
Sunflower oil – 2 tsp (you can use olive oil also, sometimes I use olive oil)
Milk – 1 ½ cup (adjust according to the dough mixture)
Garlic chopped – 2 tsp
Coriander leaf – 3 – 4 tsp
Butter – 2-3 tsp

Method:
Take a big bowl add maida, salt, sugar, baking powder & soda and mix well. Now slowly add oil and mix well, now gradually add milk and mix the dough it should not be too tighten or too loose it should be similar to chapatti dough now keep this on side for 15-20 minutes by closing the lid of bowl. After 20 minutes take the dough put it on counter top and kneed with your hand very well and make small equal balls (I got 11 balls), let is rest for 15 minutes more. Now take a tawa (steel pan) keep on gas. Take one ball and roll into naan shape now apply little butter and put little garlic and coriander leaf then roll again and take this on hand apply water on back side of Naan and put on hot tawa and let it cook for 2 minutes you can see bubbles coming now take the tawa and flip to gas so the Naan cooks other side just 2 minutes when color changes remove and flip the tawa so you can remove the Naan from tawa and with smoke your get restaurant style now apply butter, repeat all balls similar if you don’t want garlic remove garlic only add coriander leaf and cook serve hot Naan with your favorites side dish.
