Pineapple and Indian banana payasam


Once I saw tv program during onam festival, cookery show making pineapple payasam I forgot to write down recipes but little I remember so I thought to make my own style payasam here is the recipe; please try and give your valuable comments. some people don't like pineapple and banana combination, but just try. 

Ingredients

Ripe Pineapple – half 

Ripe Banana - two (Indian banana/nendrapazham)
Jaggery – 1 cup
Coconut milk – medium thick ( randam pal) – 2-3 cups

Thick  coconut milk  (OnnamPal)  -1 cup

Ghee – 100 gram
Cashew nut – 10-15 
Dried ginger powder – ½ tsp
Cumin seed – ½ tsp
Cardamom powder – ½ tsp

Method 

Cut the pineapple into two half and grate it, cut banana also two half medium sized. Take a thick bottom pan and add required ghee now add banana and saute. Once banana color change add pineapple and saute. Once cooked  add the jaggery syrup. When it get boiled and gets thickened add the medium thick (randam pal) into it
And boil. When it get boiled and the water get little drained add all the powders and the thick coconut milk extract ( onnam pal) and stir it. Switch off the stove. Fry the cashew nut in ghee and add into the payasam and mix. When it gets cool can serve
